The evidence points towards an anti-inflammatory, Mediterranean type diet

- High intake of fruit and vegetables

- Avoid trans fats and ultra processed foods

- Reduce red and processed meat

- Limit alcohol intake

- Consume a source of omega 3 fatty acids, supplement could reduce pain symptoms

- Consume 3 portions of dairy/day

- Avoid low vitamin D levels

Low FODMAP diet may support people with IBS and endometriosis.

A gluten free diet may help some people reduce pain symptoms.
